We hope to see you there! \nAbout Jessica O’Ferrell: \nAs a dedicated Stroke Coordinator\, I lead efforts to enhance stroke care and improve patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare setting. With a strong background in nursing and a passion for neurological health\, I oversee the development and implementation of stroke protocols\, ensuring rapid response\, evidence-based treatment\, and seamless coordination among multidisciplinary teams. My role involves educating staff\, patients\, and families on stroke prevention and recovery\, while also driving quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care. Committed to advocacy and community outreach\, I work tirelessly to raise awareness about stroke risks and promote timely intervention\, making a meaningful impact on lives every day. \nAbout Ed Herrington: \nEd Herrington\, BSN\, RN\, CCRN\, has served as the Cardiovascular Services Manager at Thomas\nHospital in Fairhope\, Alabama\, for the past 11 years. With a nursing career spanning since 1998\,\nEd brings extensive experience\, including 4 years in Neuro ICU\, 5 years in Surgical ICU\, 5 years\nin the Heart Cath Lab\, and 4 years in the Electrophysiology Lab. His leadership and expertise in\ncritical care and cardiovascular services make him a vital asset to his team and community.

During her time with Infirmary Health\, she has worked closely with the Manager of Women’s Program Development\, provides classes at teaching kitchens across Mobile and Baldwin County\, shares multiple nutritional resources via social media\, and created a grocery store video tour for Women’s Health. She was awarded Preceptor of the Year in 2024 from the Morrison Healthcare Dietetic Internship.
