SUMMARY:FoodRx - Healthy Cooking Class and Dinner
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with USA Health Systems\, we are announcing our first “FoodRx Healthy Cooking Class”\, Twenty dinner guests will learn hands-on\, plant-based cooking strategies and methods with Chef Matt Palamara from Coastal Community College. University of South Alabama Health physician\, Dr. Ben Schrubbe\, will present a short presentation after which we will enjoy the plant-based cooking class and dinner. The class will be divided into four to five teams each preparing a portion of the meal. \nRegistration is required as space is limited. We are only able to accommodate 20 participants. Cost is $25 per person to reserve your spot. Payment can be made via cash\, check\, or you can pay online at the button below. \nTwo dates offered: June 7 & June 28\, 2024.
