Financial Literacy in Progress (FLIP) Class

Get a leg up on financial freedom starting on April 30, 2024 MAY 2, 2024, with a 4 week class that’s free to attend. Financial Literacy workshop will meet for 1 hour each week at 7pm at the Antioch Baptist Church in Point Clear, AL. The instructor is Pamela Irby, a service agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension office.

This FLIP learning opportunity will teach lessons on:

  • How to implement a rational approach to buying

  • Recognize actions and behaviors that lead to debt

  • Develop a spending plan/budget

  • Build and maintain good credit

  • Apply strategies to manage and reduce debt

  • Avoid financial fraud and scams
