Storm Ready: Hurricane Prep and Recovery

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is hosting “Storm Ready: Hurricane Prep & Recovery” workshop on June 18th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The class is designed to help you safeguard your home, trees, and landscape before the storm hits and ways to recover quickly afterward. Learn essential tips on preparing your landscape and trees, minimizing damage. The class will cover how to build an effective go bag, plan for evacuation, and stay safe using chainsaws and generators. Additionally, they will discuss the issues with insurance on the Gulf Coast, particularly as it pertains to trees.
Lunch will be provided.
