FoodRX Cooking Class and Dinner – May 2025

Celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a special Sushi FoodRx experience with Executive Chef Matt Palamara on Sunday, May 4th at 2 PM.
Join us for an interactive sushi-making experience! This class will explore the Japanese art of creating delicate sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Both seafood and vegan options will be available for the class and dinner. Please register by noon on Friday, May 2, 2025. Secure your spot today as space is limited to just 20 people. The cost is $45 per person.

About FoodRx: Our “FoodRx Healthy Cooking Class” brings 20 dinner guests together to enjoy a hands-on, healthy cooking workshop with nutritional insights and health statistics from local physicians, nurses, dietitians and a professional chef. FoodRx events are meant to share the positive impact culinary medicine and evidence-based nutrition have on health and disease. After a brief presentation, class participants divide into groups, each preparing a portion of dinner before enjoying the communal meal together around the dinner table.
