Hope Community is organizing a bus trip to Montgomery’s Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Sites, where you can explore significant exhibits that shed light on our country’s history of racial injustice. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with powerful narratives and reflect on the impact they have on our society today. Itinerary:

The Legacy Museum
The National Memorial for Peace and Justice
The Freedom Monument Sculpture Park

Tickets are $30 per person and include transportation and admission to the Legacy Museum, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and the Freedom Monument Sculpture Park.

Lunch is self pay.

Civil Rights Activists, Bob Zellner and Pamela Smith, will accompany our tour.

• 10 am – 12:30 pm Legacy Museum
• 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm Lunch on-site at the museum (self
pay)
• 1:45pm – 2:45 pm National Memorial for Peace and
Justice
• 3pm – 4:30pm Freedom Monument Sculpture Park
• 4:45pm – 7pm Return bus trip to Fairhope

Our journey will be enriched by Bob Zellner, a lifelong civil rights activist whose autobiography, The Wrong Side of Murder Creek,  inspired the film, Son of the South. He will be joined by his wife, Pamela Smith, a passionate advocate for community building.
